a) Verbs: Tenses
Pete wants to see if you can change this passage to the past tense. To help you he has

underlined the verbs that you need to change. Rewrite the passage, changing these
verbs to past tense.

Pam and Pete are very different. Usually, Pam walks to

work and Pete drives to work in his jeep. Pam brings a
packed lunch, but Pete buys lunch from a cafe near the

store. Pam likes to walk about the store, but Pete sits in
his office most of the time.

However, they both have an interest in animals and they
enjoy working together in the store.
