Planning Tool - Task 1: Mind Map

The mind map for the job application letter should include the information requested
in the advert:

 why you want the job

 your computer skills
 any interest or experience you have with animals
 your personal qualities that would make you suitable for the job (such as being,
punctual, organised, a good listener, keen to learn, etc.)
 any hobbies and interests.

There should be some additional information shown by ‘branching’ out from the main
points and the main points should be numbered in the order in which they are to be
used in the letter.

Planning Tool - Task 2: Writing Frame

The plan should have a clear beginning and a clear ending and the points should be in an

order that makes sense.
