apostrophes to show ownership correctly.

Summary:

 Apostrophes show something belongs to someone
or something.
 If there is only one owner, the apostrophe comes
before the last s.
 If there is more than one owner, the apostrophe

usually comes after the last s.
 If the plural does not end in s, just add ‘s.
 Its does not have an apostrophe (The cat ate its
food).



Only the contraction of it is (it’s)
has an apostrophe.
It’s eating its food.
