Find in your written work, from any subject, a sample of writing where you have used a
semi-colon correctly.

Using semi-colons is also a higher level punctuation skill,
so well done if you have been able to use them in your
work! WOW!
Remember, semi-colons are not used very often but if
you can think of a sentence occasionally in your writing
that shows you know how to use them correctly, it will
help you improve your grades.
Summary:
Semi-colons are used to connect two or more ideas
into one sentence.
Semi-colons are used to join more complicated
items in a list (e.g. longer phrases or items that
have already got commas).
