I’ve always wanted to visit Italy’s capital city, Rome. It was
once voted the people’s favourite city in Europe. One of the city’s
attractions is that it is a shoppers’ paradise. It’s well known for
its men’s and boys’ designer wear.
My friend’s sister, Amy, works in Rome. Amy’s favourite place is
Rome’s Coliseum. The Coliseum’s history is amazing. Gladiator
fights took place there two thousand years ago. Soldiers’ lives
were hard in those days. I’d rather go to Rome for the shopping!
Task 3: Find your own evidence (2 points)
Up to two points awarded for a sample of written work, from any subject, showing
correct use of apostrophes to for ownership.
