TARGET YOUR PUNCTUATION!
In order to improve your writing level you must learn to use punctuation
correctly. This course will guide you through the most commonly used types
of punctuation and encourage you to use punctuation correctly in your
writing.
What’s so important about punctuation?
Punctuation:
helps you write in proper sentences
helps you to add more detail and interest to your sentences
tells the reader when to pause to make the sentence clearer
lets you ask questions
lets you use speech
lets your writing SHOUT!
How does the course work?
The course is divided into targets. Each target gives you information on a
different type of punctuation and has tasks for you to do to show you
understand.
The course is designed so that you can progress through the targets at a
pace that is right for you.
How will I know I’m making progress?
Each target will have three tasks.
Task 1 in each target is a short question task. Success in Task 1 will
be your first piece of evidence.
